This week, I am thankful...
481) for a renewed love of blogging. If you're struggling with your own blog, I suggest making a change in your life outside of blogging...a change that gets you excited and challenges you.
482) that a piece of Abby's school artwork was chosen for the community art fair.
483) every time I log onto Facebook and a see a photo of my cousin's little girl being her sweet little self. I remember wondering if she'd make it more than a few days back when her liver was giving up on her.
484) to get to spend part of a morning with my nephew last week.
485) for the entertainment that comes with a sheet of bubble wrap {for children & adults alike!}.
486) that we didn't fall back this weekend. Falling back is so much worse for us than Springing forward. At least when we Spring Forward we can pretend the girls are sleeping in. When we Fall Back, we're pretty much guaranteed to be woken up at 5 am every time.
487) for Clorox disinfecting wipes.
488) for Humor boards on Pinterest.
489) that I finally relented and agreed that a Keurig would be a good investment. I fought it for years because we were such big coffee drinkers; it never made sense to drink coffee on a cup-by-cup basis. Once I cut out caffeine and our coffee consumption took a dive, it made sense to buy one.
490) I let Steve talk me into cleaning out & disinfecting the trash can cabinet to make room for my pots & pans.
491) that there's a cure for Type 1 diabetes around the corner. Oh. Wait. I'm not excited about that. It's not really a cure until it works, and I'm pretty sure that "corner" is in another universe. Really, I'm just glad I have a sense of humor about the cures that have been "around the corner" for nearly 100 years.
492) for the glass water bottle Steve picked up at Target for me.
493) to my parents for helping out with Hayley on Sunday while Abby was sick.
494) for the free 4-drawer file cabinet a neighbor's aunt & uncle found and let us have. Be gone, milk crates, tiny 2-drawer file cabinets, and paper piles!
495) that warmer weather came our way.
496) that I can keep up with friends from elementary school - college via Facebook, Instagram, and blogs.
497) to be another day closer to everyone being healthy again.
498) for gluten free pancakes {even if my kids didn't love them}.
499) that Abby woke up this morning and knew she was better because, "I didn't feel wobbly!"
500) for this blog {The Very Worst Missionary}. Thanks to a friend, I found this blog recently and have not been able to stop reading it. It's a refreshing look at faith, people, and Jesus. I think we could use more of this type of relatable reality in Christianity today.

I've been using Bloglovin since I bought my first iPhone, and
I promise you that it's a million times better than any reader out there.
There's a free Bloglovin app for when you're on the go, and you can
also use it the same way you use your Google Reader now. I finally
updated everything with the new blog title and url. Better late than never!
